2011 Reading List - Book 8

The Boys - Herogasm by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The fifth installment of The Boys, Herogasm, is possibly the filthiest yet. If you haven’t liked Ennis books before, you certainly won’t start now. The book parodies the idea of mainstream comics “summer events” (Civil War, Final Crisis, etc…). There’s possibly more sex and drugs than any other volume of The Boys. I still think it is funny, smart, and a brilliantly self aware critique of the superhero comic. Highly recommend for those that aren’t easily offended.

Amazing Volume! Just finished reading it after two days of having it next to me! Can’t wait for volume 6 to come back into stock!
